At Schiphol Airport a very experience team of specialists takes care of the smooth handling of all import and export shipments through continuous communication with customers, suppliers, customs and foreign partners. Naturally Rotterdam is the key hub for most ocean freight, both FCL and LCL. Gelders Forwarding is familiar not only with standard containers, but regularly ships Open-Top, High Cube containers and containers with hanging garments.

Import

Whether it is ocean freight or air freight, Gelders Forwarding can take of the total door-to-door import process. From the moment you place orders with your suppliers we monitor the shipment via our agent network until arrival in the Netherlands and delivery to you or your customers. Our all-round staff is trained to handles your shipments from A to Z, so you can always contact the same people for questions regarding your shipments. We continually keep you updated about any status changes so that you can take action where necessary and possible.

To facilitate the communication between you, your suppliers and ourselves, we have developed an online order management functionality. In this password protect area all parties involved can see which orders are under way and what the status is of these orders.

Export

Gelders Forwarding also provides a complete door-to-door solution for all of your export shipments. Prior to booking the shipment, our export staff will gladly inform you about all of the options for particular destinations. As a result of excellent contacts with airlines, shipping lines, customs and our partners abroad we ensure a quick and smooth handling. In this process communication is key. Our staff will check if flights or vessels depart as planned and will keep you informed pro-actively until the arrival of your shipment at the end-destination.
